Funding

While The Birth Center’s income is primarily from insurance reimbursement, The Birth Center also obtains support in the form of grants and donations from foundations, trusts and grateful clients and friends in the Greater Philadelphia area. These donations are primarily used to support free or subsidized care.

The Birthship Fund provides grants for uninsured low-income families to cover maternity care. Assistance is also available for insured families with high out-of-pocket co-pays or deductibles.
The Fund for Well-Woman Care assists uninsured women in covering gynecological services.
The Childbirth Education Fund provides funds to cover the cost of childbirth education for those families in need.
